Yes, I'm talking about the infamous Obedient Wives Club.

Seriously would never think I would read such nonsense on the local news but it happened.. In fact, I thought I misread it and actually read it again a 2nd time only to confirm my fear, that there are really stupid people out there.

Quotes from the news which I could not believe my eyes when i read them:

1. “Domestic abuse happens because wives don’t obey their husband"
I really sympathize with abused women with this statement, can't even imagine how it feels like being abused/beaten up by violent husbands who probably have such inferiority that the only way they can feel more 'manly' is to show it that way to women. Imagine going through all the abuse and one day someone tells you it's all your fault that you're being abused. "Sorry la you're not obedient to your hubby that's why you get beaten up like these, it's all your own doing!" Some of the husbands are alcoholics as well I'm sure so I don't think they're even aware if their wives are being 'disobedient' -.-

If I can just tell the so-called 'club' one thing it will be this:
Husbands who abuse their wives have small dicks and most probably they're failures in life as well since they are so insecure and inferior to everything that the only way they can feel better and more macho is by drinking and abusing their wives. What do they expect the 'obedient wives' to do? Keep smiling and agreeing with being abused? "Yes, punch me more please, in my stomach and maybe face too cause I'm so obedient"

Unbelievable.

Did they just compare wives with prostitutes?????
Helo, if you want to be compared to prostitutes by all means go ahead but please don't generalize and think we all like to be compared that way ok.

Thanks for giving the greenlight to husbands to cheat more with this statement. Wouldn't be surprised if their husbands are delighted with this statement since now they've a 'valid' reason to cheat! In fact it is a damn good reason cause it is now not their fault at all for cheating, it's all because of their lousy-in-bed wives you know. I can almost hear all the cheaters applauding as whatever guilt they had previously for cheating have been justified.

While nations everywhere are working towards creating a more modern-ized and liberal world by enforcing women's rights everywhere, I can't believe that our own gender would actually try to sabotage it. By relating women as prostitutes and blaming us for guys being violent, might as well they just blame rape victims straight for being raped because what they're saying is really not much of a difference.

Really hope the club will be banished soon as it creates such embarrassing news for our country.. Sigh..

Anyways enough ranting cause it's a new week ahead =)
Short update:

Last week I was told that I'm too 'nicey' a person by a friend of mine and let some people step over me, think I took the advice a lil too seriously so I tried to be more upfront and blatant for awhile..

..and I think I upset someone >.<

So I'm back to my nicey self cause I just feel very bad every time I upset people (well unless they evidently deserve it that is..)

Anyway it's almost half a year and my birthday is approachinggg.. *subtle HINT* =)
